Course Summary
This is the first part of the course. Here you will learn the Swedish alphabet. We will go through the basic rules of Swedish spelling, and you will learn, for example, numbers, days of the week, months, common verbs, how to form sentences and questions in Swedish, as well as simple phrases like 'thank you', 'hello', and 'I don't understand'. After 45 short basic lessons, there will be about 100 lessons with reading comprehension, vocabulary comprehension, listening exercises, and dictation. You will also submit written and oral assignments. STEP 1 concludes with a test on reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and oral and written submissions.
